LAANC Statement

AutoPylot is a provider of UAS services within the FAA’s Low-Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC). LAANC may be used to satisfy compliance with air traffic authorization. Information provided here is based on real-time and available projected information on airspace status and airport-specific maps, and that information is subject to change. Planning tools should be checked prior to flight for any changes that could impact the operation. 

AutoPylot cannot ensure the completion or accuracy of all displayed TFR data. Remote pilots are responsible for checking the airspace they are operating in per Part 107.49 and complying with all restrictions that may be present such as restricted and prohibited airspace, temporary flight restrictions, etc. To obtain the most accurate and up to date information operators should check tfr.faa.gov and ensure their operation(s) do not overlap with any active TFRs or other restricted airspaces prior to launch.

LAANC Data Protection Plan

AutoPylot’s LAANC application collects the following LAANC data from the UAS operator. 

Personally Identifiable Data

• First name
• Last name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Part 107 certification number
• Part 107 issue/renewal date
• TRUST authorization token
• TRUST issue/renewal date

Non-Personal Identifiable Data

• Operation type (Commercial – Part 107 or Recreational – Section 44809)
• Operation name
• Operation geographic location
• Operation start time
• Operation end time
• Operation max altitude
• Operation boundary airspace class(s)
• Operation status
  • “Approved”
  • “Canceled”
  • “Denied”
  • “Deleted”
  • “Pending Auto Approval”
  • “Pending Further Coordination”
  • “Unsubmitted”
  • “Notify Deleted”
  • “Notify Canceled”
  • “Rescinded”
• Safety justification text for non-auto-approved operations
• LAANC submission reference code(s)

Autopylot will retain a user’s information as long as their account is active and to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Please note that, except as required by applicable law or our specific agreements with the user, we will not be obligated to retain users’ Information for any particular period, and we are free to securely delete it or restrict access to it for any reason and at any time, with or without notice to them.
